How I think
If your curious about my design process heres a glimpse of how I approach a project.
With all my projects I like to start by sketching, even if I don’t have a solid Idea. I then draw the first two ideas that comes to my mind and write down descriptors of the general direction I want to head in, you can see this on the left page. I like to branch off from each idea and decide which path to go down. I keep on drawing different iterations in line until I land on a solid Idea.
When I find this Idea I try to build onto it as much as possible and start thinking of problems that I could come across in the manufacturing process. When Im satisfied I then move onto CAD.
In CAD I build the model and write down any other small adjustments that I feel have to be made as I see it come together.
When I complete the model I try and make different small variations and then decide what I believe is the best one.
Finally I start the building/manufacturing process.
